Well, I knew that at one point the novelty of the matter would fade away. I knew the challenge is called that way for a reason. I knew time will come when you need to force yourself to produce a picture. I knew it all along, but I'm still surprised that it is here: the lack of inspiration.
So what to do? Well, I'll try harder. I'll walk through different paths to come back from my work. I'll go for a walk in a different area on weekends. To combat this lack of inspiration, nothing else works better than Novelty...

Anything missing?
Well, if you believe there are not enough portrait or candid photos in here. You're quite right! The point of this 365 challenge is actually to improve my skills. This also means try new types of photos, new techniques and new subjects.
Being myself quite discreet, I tend not to be comfortable when shooting people. Street photography and candid portraits are quite difficult in my opinion. You have to be in the middle of the action and instantaneously detect a scene... So far, I take my time composing, thinking about the subject, remembering myself about rules and so on. Well, with all that in my mind, I just can't shoot in the middle of a street with people around.
But, as there is always a but, I think I can publish some portraits I did this summer when we were at THE Celtic Festival in France (Lorient) in August. There, I did take many portraits of people performing the big parade. So stay tuned. Once I choose the nicest ones, I'll post them here!
