Lorient's Celtic Festival part 1: Five first candid portraits

This is not counted as part of the 365 challenge. I wanted to show you the candid portraits I like as this is kind of difficult to do in the challenge. Maybe if I wander a bit in the city centre on weekends, stalking people and all ^^ Why not.

The following pictures were framed with a wonderful zoom. I had quite a bit of challenge with the sun and clouds as it is always in Brittany. I was in full manual, so I was tweaking a bit during the parade before I got something OK. I missed a lot of shots. Plus, people were moving and I had to be precise with the manual focusing. Well, all that to say that it wasn't easy peasy at all! When I managed to get a great feeling of what people were thinking about or a nice expression on their face, it was because of pure luck...

Here you go. Five shots. No more, no less. I'll add more later on. Enjoy!

  1. I think there may be people who are very good at street photos but for me, I follow the same belief as you--if I get a good shot (and in focus), it was just luck. :-)
